Through a pane of glass, the audience catches a glimpse of MEINE JUNGE FRAU. They look into the setting of a hotel room where the performer is accompanied by a copy of herself: a movable silicone doll. Over the course of the six-hour performance, a shifting tension unfolds between the two figures. The improvised scenes follow cyclical patterns, while the audience listens in on the room through headphones.

Originally created in 2022 for the Annual Exhibition at HFBK, the work has since evolved in a series of subsequent chapters. For the open-air adaptations, see the folder "2025 Silent Dialogue."
