Lili Süper
was born in Bremen, Germany in 1997. She studied sculpture and stage-art at the University of fine arts (HFBK) in Hamburg. In 2018 she co-founded the f.e.t.t. kollektiv, a young interdisciplinary performance collective. Coming from the theatre, she conceived immersive installations, durational performances, scenographies and sculptures, which always understand the gaze and body of the audience as a central part of the work.
An important companion are her silicone dolls with which she investigates living and non-living materialities. In search of making major upheavals in our understanding of humanity and nature tangible.
In addition to galleries, her works have also been shown in old factory buildings, empty houses, performance festivals and municipal theatres. Invitations to art residencies and exhibitions have taken her to an international audience.
She was awarded the HISCOX Art Prize in 2022 and nominated for the German Federal Prize for Art Students in 2023. Since autumn 2024, she has been studying for her Master's degree Art and Ecology at Goldsmiths College London with funding from the DAAD and the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.
